I selected 2 systems for my next-gen PC:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. DELL 8400 P4 3.4(550) on 925x+X800Xt pcie
2. Not a well known brand but OK, A64 3400+ (754) +G6800 Ultra
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
option 2 is cheaper than 1 in about 120USD, I really have no ideas which one is more suitable to me because I will play game, do design works and programming on the system, option 1 is cutting edge and upgradeable, but 2 is faster in many cases. any suggestions, I have to make my desicion in few days. :(

i would go with the dell, because its a good known company, and you can get good support. the other one is also good because you'll get the a64 and 6800 :) . but its your dessciosn.

I perfer just 1 year support for both, my concern is the overall performance, I've checked lots of review of a64 and new P4 flatform, the test results are just half half for each processor, the video cards are as well, pretty tough decision.
the A64 has anyway 64-bit future and good float-point performance though the P4 is whole new one (925x+pcie+dual channel mem) and especially with HT function (that's very attractive since I will do some renderring jobs).
the video card is also bother me, x800xt pcie is reasonable to me but the 6800U has the sm3 support and sometime faster thean x800xt...
anyway...have no idea...

a64 will allways be faster in games. What is the name of the company that makes the other one?
