Heres the situation. Currently, my PC is connected to my stereo via video/aux and I use the stereo speakers for music/games etc But somehow the speakers got busted (don't work properly) so now I'm looking for new comp speakers. I'm wondering how would the setup be because I know comp speakers have their own amplifiers, so it wouldn't need my stereo amp. Is it still possible to connect comp speakers to my stereo and also to my PC?
I have the Klipsch Promedia 2.1s back in Canada but right now I'm in HKG and I checked with Fedex the estimate to ship those back here and they said about $220 Cdn !!
thats crazy...so I thought I'll just get a new set here.
I'm not sure whether to go 2.1 or 5.1 I have sandstorm audio and would like to use digital if possible.
How are the old Promedia 5.1s like? Are the ultras better than those? It seems to me the old ones look more solid but thats just me.
I haven't looked into Cambridge soundworks ...My Dad uses the SW310s for his comp.
