Which speakers: MS40 or A2?

I've narrowed down my choice of speakers to:

Behringer MS40

and

Audioengine A2

I like the Behringer's because they're cheap at about $120 shipped. The Audioengine A2 speakers seem to be better than the Behringer's, but cost $80 more.

I will be using these speakers primarily for music (metal/rock mostly) and very light gaming. I also want speakers that can hook directly into my PC and don't require a subwoofer or anything extra to work/sound decent. I should also note they'll be used in a fairly small room, so it's not like I need anything I can wake the neighbors with.

So, are the Audioengine A2's worth the extra $80 or will I be pleased enough by the Behringer's?

Of the two I'd pick the A2s, but to be honest, my A5s only satisfied me for a little bit on the low end before upgrading to a separate sub later on. 50Hz is decent reach but my sub puts it down to 25 with authority (the A5's on its own is -1.5 @ 50Hz I believe). For bookshelves size and quality does matter, so I recommend saving a bit more.

I'm in that situation right now. Which sub did you decide on?

I do love my A5s, but I'm shopping around for a sub. Probably the Acculine Asub as well whenever I have the money.

Okay, I found a code to get the A2's down to $150 shipped (MW09). I think that seals the deal for me on the A2's.
