Which Sound Card?

I currently have a SB Audigy 2 and want to upgrade.

I'd like to have the card ouput through coax or optical connections to my preamp. My preamp is connected to my 7 channel poweramp. I have a 5.1 setup with the mains biamplified. It is a high quality system all around.

My computer wont replace my normal sources for CDs/movies, but I still like the idea of having it connected for surround supporting games like HL2. Its also nice to pull up MCE for music when I have people over so I'm not switching CDs all the time. For this reason, I'd still like to have good quality sound and the ability to *not* upmix stereo signals into 5.1 (I still like 2 channel for music).

My computer has around 140GB of uncompressed .wav files that I'd like to be able to play. I'm running an AMD x2 64 3800+ (but 32bit MCE) with 2GB of ram

My budget is 50-200, but is flexible in either direction. I don't know a whole lot about soundcards, so I'm unsure how much want I want to do will cost.

Thanks for your advice
