LG GSA 4163B DVD 16x Dual layer

thks!

1st post :)

Even tho you have the LG burner which is shorter than others, it may not fit with that modstream PSU. I tried to use my 520W modstream in my q-pack w/ my plextor dvd burner which is also short length but it would not fit. The modstream is really big compared to other PSUs..i just put mine in a diff rig and replaced it w/ a fortron bluestorm. The modstream should fit in the SG01/evo however but check up on the cooling issues before you buy it.

yeah agree this psu is really big compared to others
and the sff i was looking is the same you mentioned ..the qpack, antec aria or SN25P ( but is too expensive )

and i´m still thinking in choosing Intel 805/ 920D or Amd 148/165

which ones are cooler ?..i choose dual core and 2 gb because i work with graphics programs like photoshop ilustrator and i also want to play some good games at 1600x1200 ( HP L2035 TFT 20.1 )

do you think enermax liberty 500W or LC POWER 550W SILENT GREEN POWER PCIe fits in qpack ?

yea the liberty should fit fine..never heard of the LC power you are mentioning. You shouldn't have many problems w/ which PSU you choose because of the short length DVD burner, but just avoid the huge ones like the OCZ modstream and Silverstone Strider.

The X-qpack has better cooling than the Antec Aria because of the 120mm fan in the back from what I've heard. I have the qpack with windows, but now I want the windowless one because it looks better and the windows on mine scratch easily. Which motherboard are using btw? I would probably get the Opteron 165 because of dual core and it is a pretty good overclocker (plus the price is good). You can have a gaming machine and work with your adobe programs.

Check the recommended motherboard FAQ sticky at the top. Im currently using the Biostar Tforce6100 which is pretty nice.

If you are going AMD 939..basically:
Stable but no OC - get the MSI
Overclocking but no SLI - either the Biostar Tforce 6100 or DFI RS482
SLI - Evga SLI (only SLI option I know of as of now)

The Silverstone SG-01 case is very nice too and the Enermax Liberty is a great match for a power supply.
