Which seagate drive would be better?

I am in the market to get a new HD since my WD Caviar is dying.

I see the seagate 7200.8 250GB SATA-1 at ZZF for $104.99 with free 2-day air.
They also, however, have the 7200.9 250GB SATA-II for $109.99 with free 2-day air.

Which is a better choice? I don't think my MSI motherboard (in sig) supports sata-II (but I know the drive will work due to backwards compatability, I am just saying for performance purposes). I think the 7200.8 has a denser platter than the 7200.9 for the 250GB model, so that might come into consideration.

Should I get a different drive completely? I'm not to fond of WD right now...this drive is only 6 months old and is dying. I'm going to RMA it (it is under warranty) but I need another 250 to copy data over beforehand and replace my aging IBM 60 and 80 GB drives before they die too (they have been going strong for 4-5 yrs, but you never know how much longer these "deathstars" will last).

Any suggestions?
