I am getting ready to upgrade from a 19" Benq 25ms lcd. I am going to get a widescreen monitor. I was looking at 4 of the sceptre monitors as I can get a good deal on either one. I was wondering if there would be much of a quality and/or performance difference between them. One is the X20WG-Naga

I I don't care about the hdmi as I will only use the dvi with my pc. The specs are very similar with a couple having a little better contrast ratio. Any input or ideas as to whether or not there would be a performance or quality difference when gaming? The prices I can get these at range from 199 to 299. If you have a better quality 20-22" monitor that you can recommend then please do.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Sceptre. check out the reviews on Newegg. It has an issue with the DVI port. I would go with a monitor that I can return to a store and get my money right away. They do not sell these in stores. They also ship refurbished units as new. When I received mine I noticed that the box had been opened already.

I guess the thier quality control has gone downhill. I have a 19" sceptre that has been outstanding.

SCEPTRE X20WC-Gamer highly recommended and at a great price. I went through a couple of 22" monitors including the sceptre 22" and they all have their flaws. I received the SCEPTRE X20WC-Gamer yesterday and it is absolutely brilliant. excellent color, razer sharp text, plenty bright and I love the glossy screen. I also have this monitor at work & haven't had any probs.

I just got the 22" Gamer and it looks great. No dead pixels. The stand is a little flimsy and blue LED light is a little to bright for my taste, but other than that is seems great. I purchased mine from costco.com. :)

I guess it is the luck of the draw. I have had some people tell me to only go with viewsonic but I have a viewsonic right now and based on it I will not buy another viewsonic.
