I know that pci-e x16 slot supposedly provide a certain amount of power for the vid cards. I also know that alot of cards have a 6 pin power connector on them. assuming you have dual 12v rails on your psu, which one powers the gpu? is it a mix of the 6pin connector and the mobo rail? thanks

+12v2 but it should be the same rail for both means of delivery
