I will be cooling an i7 930 @ 4.2ghz and mobo both on water. I am looking at a couple of rads, but not sure which would offer better performance. i'm upgrading my case to a lian li pc-v2120 and I wanted to do a triple rad up top. It turns out that an xspc rx360 is just barely too big and hits my cpu waterblock. So....I am looking to send the rx360 back and get either a thinner triple with higher fpi or get an really thick 280 rad for the front of the case instead to cool the cpu and mobo. Then later down the road use the triple slot up top for a thinner rad for gpu if I decide to cool that.
basiclly, would a thinner 120.3 be equvialent to a thick 140.2 rad?
