How's MCP650 compared to the 3?

Have you not considered a Laing DDC-12V? It's quite, has a great flow rate and is 12V

Out of the two you've stated I'd go for the Eheim.

I'd go with the 655, or any versoin of it that you can get there............... :D I'm a big fan of 12 volt pumps, been using D4s and now the D5 from when they were first released.

MCP650 n MCP655 diff is only in the adjustable nod ya?
If i get a 2nd hand MCP650.. i perform same as the 655?

I was slightly more supportive for Eheim for their reliability.

Performance levels between the 2 are close, but the D5's a somewhat better . Noise levels are also lower on the D5 and toy already mentioned the adjustment knob............. Get the D5 (MCP655).
