PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad - Copper EPS12V 750W Power Supply

COOLER MASTER Real Power Pro RS-850-EMBA ATX12V / EPS12V 850W Power Supply

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wanted to go with...

CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 620W Power Supply 100
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16817139002

But then I was in turn told this...
"The 8800GTX is power hungry, and 18A per rail will probably end up with random reboots/shutdowns."

Is this true? I am not to big on the whole specs behind PSU's

Stick to you first choice, the Corsair unit can supply as much as 50Amps on the 12V rails, it will be fine...

Redbeard have had the 620HX powering a SLi system with 2 8800GTX and a Quad Core, just to see if he could, and it was reportedly stable as ever.

Hopefully I'll recieve MY 620HX tomorrow and eventhough it's only going to be pulling an 8800GTS + Stuff I shouldn't be stressing it much more than 50 % if any of the PSU calculators on the web are fairly right...

The HX620 will most definitely handle that setup plus some. I have one, with an 8800GTX, and it has never missed a beat. Should have another soon to add tot he mix.

Awesome I was hoping someone would say that I really wanted to stick with that PSU but didn't want to run into problems.
