Which PSU would you get?

My 4 year old 750watt PSU seems to be on its last leg. My comp runs 24/7.. so I'm looking for something very efficient. I'm running an I7-920 with Xfire 5850's with 4 HD/SSD.

Currently I've nailed it down to either the MaxRevo, or the Corsair AX1200. I know this is way overkill for my current setup.. but I want something that will last and be futureproof in case I get fkn retarded and go quadfire 6970's or something. Are there any other PSU's I should be looking at?

If you really want that much headroom, AX1200, HCP1200, Sparkle Gold Series 1250, or OCZ Gold 1250. Also Silverstone Strider Gold 1200. Never heard of the Max Revo, the ones I listed are known good ones that I know off the top of my head that are efficient.

AX1200 is fine if you want to be crazy.

Not sure why you would want to go quadfire, scaling past 2 is for crap, and bitcoin mining is lolworthy.

Seasonic X760 would be a pretty solid swap for your current PSU, or Corsair AX750. Don't know of any 80+ Plat PSUs yet with enough wattage to comfortably run 2 GPUs.

I'm just looking for something future proof. I don't mind investing in a really nice one since my current one lasted so long. I'm looking to do upgrade my system next year with xfire 6990's or whatever the best of the best is at that time.

If you want futureproof then go with the AX1200 or HCP 1200W or Enermax MaxRevo 1350W,can't go wrong with these.
Never heard of the Max Revo
It's from Enermax IIRC.

I ended up going with the Corsair AX1200. It was a bit cheaper then the HCP1200, and the fact that its fully modular, 7 year warranty, and has a better look sealed the deal for me. I just couldn't get over the look of the MaxRevo's cabling.. makes me feel like im on a Dell. Thx for everyones input.
