i just got done upgrading my computer and i think i need a new psu. i now have a 350W running a intel 2.8, 2gb ram, 1 hard drive, and 7950 gt and its not doing very well. i won't be adding anything to the computer for a long time so i really don't need a psu that i would grow into.

i used a calculator on some website (i got a link to it from somewhere in this forum) and it said i needed a 320 watt psu so i was looking at some between 430 and 500 watts. here's what i found:

APEVIA (ASPIRE) 500W

Thermaltake 430W

Rosewill 450W

XClio 450W

which would be the best? or do you have any other recommendations?

Try the Ultra X-Finity 500w (blue), it's $35 after Mail in rebate at Zip Zoom Fly (free ship)

I'd pass on that one. The FSP Blue is rather outdated.

www.ewiz.com Enhance ENS 5140, it's pretty cheap, very high quality, and more than enough power.

PSU calculators, for the most part, are useless for finding what power supply you really need. Avoid.
