hey guys ive had this generic power supply for about a year and its making these loud noises so im afraid its gonna fry my comp so i wanted to get a new psu

like in the $30-$60 range i have a amd system u can see the specs in my sig

thanx:)

If you want a cheap, but somewhat decent PSU...

Look into an Allied 450W. I had one in my last AMD system and it worked just fine for voltages. Didn't really do any overclocking though, so be wary in that respect.

Antec and Fortron have the best PSU's next to PCP&C which is the most expensive.

An Antec or Fortron 350w will be your best purchase.
