LENOVO IdeaPad Y50-70

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M

Main usage is gaming. I'd choose the Lenovo, but I still want to hear other opinions. The M290X is supposed to be a faster GPU than the 860M but the AMD CPU is not even in the same league as the I7, and the +1kg in weight is really not attractive.

Lenovo, because of the i7 vs AMD CPU.
But you might want to wait for a refresh with 900 series M GPU's. A 970M is very powerfull and will beat the M290X.

I fear that the new series with 970 GPUs will overpriced. I'm thinking I need to get the old while they're available at a reasonable price. These older HQ I7s might disappear from shelves and the new U series is what will only remain with 2 cores instead of 4 for similar prices.

I'd appreciate it if the ones who voted would explain why they choose the one they've choosen. So far we have 8 votes and only one comment, C'mon.

As I feared I waited too long. The Lenovo is no longer available.

Whats your budget? Gigabyte has a nice 14inch 1080P Core i7 thats super light and thin for 1300 that has a 965 nvidia card. Screen is 1080P IPS panel
