Which one to buy?

Building my new system I thought of everything except for a soundcard. I've never had to even replace one before so I have no idea what to buy. I was looking at these two. What does everyone think?

Probably not the first one because it's not even a "true" x-fi card..

What will you be using the soundcard for? If you are strictly a gamer and use XP, then I would get an X-Fi.

Out of the two, most definitely the latter. The $30-ish price jump is paltry.

The second one it is. I didn't think the cheaper one was worth saving a few bucks, I just needed somebody to co-sign my own thoughts that you get what you pay for.
