lo chaps
so on such a nice sunny bank holiday...i was doin the usual on my comp....nothing straining...then all ov a sudden the entire power for upstairs cut out...but downstairs was fine?? then after switching the circuit breakers went back upstairs to survey the damage...
everything was working except my machine. so no power was going to the machine...so i changed the fuse on the plug and the power was then then i flicked on the power button the BANG!! from inside the machine...i dont kno where but it looked like from the mobo....so shi*ting myself...i took the machine appart and now im running the machine in the open air.
the prob is that im running the macine with my antec smartblue 350w psu insted of my usual Antec truepower 480w...thats where the problem may come from.
im running my rig
2500+ @ 2.31Ghz
Asus a7n8x delux
9800pro
2x hdd's
1xdvd-rw
and spare Antec smartblue 350w psu
my machine seems to be running fine(im on it right now) but looks like im not gonna risk it and prob get a new psu...even if my 480w one works....i simply wont risk it.
im gonna give a list of psu's i like please let me know which one i should get.
