Which motherboard to buy? (dilemma inside)

I've had my eye on this board for a while, because it seems to have everything I'm looking for.

The only problem is that it's a previous generation board, so I guess it would be like shooting myself in the foot if I get it. Here's what I'm looking for in a new board:

1. Upgradability
2. PCI slot (not letting go of my X-Fi Xtreme sound card!)
3. No mid-range chipset, like the P series chipsets (has the be Intel high-end)

Is there a Z77 chipset board that has a PCI slot, made by Asus? I'm sort of lost with the huge selection that Asus currently has for their boards.

Plenty actually.

I would recommend P8Z77-V or P8Z77-V LK if you're on a budget. The PRO and DELUXE models have more features but I've never found them to be cost effective.

The pro and Deluxe models have a few features that most don't need. I would go with the P8Z77-v. However newegg has the other board for 129 if you are on a smaller budget....
