Have a ASUS A8n32-sli Deluxe and I'm installing Vista Ultimate and want to add 1gig of memory to make it 3gigs. I have 2 one gig sticks OCZ PC3200 EL Dual CH Platinum Edition Memory currently in the system now. Should I add two 512 or 1gig stick and what should I use. Thanks
 
If you want to keep it running in dual channel mode you'll have to go with 2x512 sticks to achieve your 3 GB
 
ddr1 huh. If that's vista 32 bit you might not see a lot of return mileage on that third gig. Even if its 64bit filling all ram slots can necessitate other compromises like timings and FSB speeds. Things which can reduce the potential gains of that third gig
