I got an old computer in the basement, im putting together just to mess around with.
Budget = ZERO DOLLARS! Please dont tell me, why not fork out this why not fork out that why not buy this for 10 cents.... lol ....

I just want an opinion on two peices of ram that i have access to.
My mother board is an ASUS P5B DELUXE, its takes ddr2 800 max.

Anyways here is what my options are:

The ram i have in there now:
The only info i have on it is the following cpuz screenshot:

or this ram:

Which a buddy of mine who owns a hardware store can give to me for free cuz its laying around.

I have ONLY those two options. thats it.

this is just a junk computer im putting together from old parts, maybe gonna use it for a dedicated game server or something fun lan gaming i dunno.

Anyways .... first ram or second. Please compare the two as i have no clue about anything ram related. Thanks

They are identical in terms of timings and speed. I'm assuming the current ram is 2x1GB just like the second. If so you can use both since you have 4 ram slots. If not take the free ram and run 2x1GB, 2x512MB for 3GB of ram.
