We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

which mac-centric forums do you frequent regularly? I am looking for information and experiences and would like to participate in more mac forums across the web.
thanks!

MacRumors.com

I kinda hate that there isn't that much of a Mac userbase here on [H] but oh well. Too many PC !!!!!!s around :D. Check that website out, it's a great place to learn many Mac things, get Mac news, and just hang with really cool people.

http://forums.macnn.com

Very responsive and very helpful forums. Sections dedicated to every aspect, both hardware and software, and an excellent Marketplace forum. I highly recommen it in addition to the other forums listed here.

I haven't took part in the forums there, but discussions.apple.com has a lot of good info.

apple is backing away from those and seem be closing them down since they are slowly decreasing the number of support staff for the forum

That sucks.

I guess they want everybody to go see a real genius.

macrumors.com is pretty good. Great MarketPlace, but a lot of hardcore Apple fans that think they should be in charge of the ?

I'll have to check the others out.

Macrumors.com 99% of the time. I'll visit others if needed, but I find MR to be easily laid out/navigation/design. They have a good userbase, good marketplace, pretty knowledgable folks (and generally the most active ones are pretty nice).
