have fun!
sure good site to check out, but i forgot to mention this to u that i prefer newegg or zzf since i trust em more than another vendors.

laptops are really hard to recommend. at least w/o a flame war.

R&J Tech is a very reputable company and i highly recommend buying from them.
i recommend either the Clevo M400A (http://www.rjtech.com/m400.htm) or the Clevo M38AW (http://www.rjtech.com/m38aw.htm).

at newegg i would recommend the Acer 8104 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16834115178) or 8103 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16834115179), which are excellent and fully loaded laptops at just under 2000$, as is the ABS Mayhem G4 A56 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16834224018).
