which laptop?

None of the above. Gateway is the best of those 3, hands down, more powerful CPU, more memory, larger HDD, only downfall is the intel GPU...

That said, I own a gateway netbook and the warranty support is absurdly dismal. The people have no clue what they are talking about. One of the keys on my netbook stopped working completely, and the guy told me to reinstall windows drivers for the keyboard. I had a battery issue and 2 different people told me to go into the bios and change something that was not there. I would highly recommend avoiding all 3.

Try and go for a dell or lenovo, with a lap top anything can break and you really can't repair it yourself.

oh i see, problem is these 3 are more in my budget, i wanna get the gateway the problem is im afraid that it might break faster than HP or Toshiba?

Really? hmmm, well anyways its a link to a MSI laptop and i have no clue if they re good better than gateway?

BestBuy has a Gateway 4GB, 320GB, 15.6", for $500.
Acer & Asus same specs are $450.
I would not pay premium for Lenovo or any brand just to show off.
