I'm in the market for a new keyboard...would prefer something that has a short keystroke, volume controls, but also the arrow keys in the standard position. I had a viewsonic multimedia keyboard (the giant one) and that was pretty decent. I'd get it again, but I want a change. I've typed on this one (unknown) keyboard that has a "soft" feel to it, and was able to type really fast - so maybe this would be better than short keystroke. Any favorites you'd like to suggest? I do a fair amount of typing and gaming, and I like to use the arrow keys for gaming.

i love it, so comfortable to type and i find it fine for gaming, i too use the arrow keys...
 
well. i would recommend logitech or microsoft.. but its really hard to say... just go to store maybe and feel for what fits your preference and style
 
I use the ViewSonic Slim Keyboard, it's like a laptop keyboard. It has multimedia keys at the top. Here's a link of what it looks like. It is arched in the middle a little bit as you can see from the pictures.

I would avoid microsoft keyboards if you don't like those that you've used in the past. In my experience, they all have the same feel regardless of their shape.

BTW Pakman, I like your sig. Free-falling Macs are a beautiful sight.
