edit: for gaming also are bartons performing much better than the 256k catches?
 
I'm inclined to go with the video card, but both options should give you a nice upgrade. Sorry if that doesn't help much.
 
radeon hands down.
Your proccy is not THAT slow, your video card is horrifically slow compared to that radeon.
 
getting a vid card will improve performance in games while getting a new CPU along with 512 megs of ram will improve overall system performance - your choice!
