Which is the better case?

They look the same to me other than the color. What do you guys think is the better case? O ya and im going to use it for gaming and entertainment.

They are the same, case. I have one question for you then I will decide. Do you like beige or black?

The second one (SLK3700-BQE) has a rail system at the bottom for mounting hard drives. They're also rotated 90 degrees towards the side of the case. This is a design that I prefer, but some people would rather have the conventional design. Other than that, the cases are basically identical.

What is the point in mouting the HDD racks at 90 degrees, does it save space, or does it make the cables coming out the back easier to hide since they are connected on the back of the right panel, or both?

Both. It also improves cooling because the cables aren't blocking air flowing over them from the front-mounted intake fan.

Sounds good. Would it be possible to remove the HDD bays from a conventional design case and rotate them to fit at 90 degrees to the side panel.

Of course, but the case must be wide enough to accomidate the mod. Also, you'd have to remove a lot of material from the HDD cage to allow air to pass through it.

Why dont I just not have a HDD rack, that sounds better . I will only be having one harddrive, and I plan to put it in an Aerogate HDD cooler/fan controller. I wont have any real use for the rack .
