5900NU @ 464/980

5900NU flashed to 5950U @ 500/1000?
 
I'm no video card expert but how could 464/980 possibly be faster then 500/1000 on the same video card? That just seems like an absolute no brainer.
 
What I meant was due to the flash of the BIOS.

The 5950 was meant for default clocks of 475/950. I just thought that since you were going with something original, 5900NU @ 464/980, it would be faster since you were ramping the clock on the original BIOS.
