I'm in the process of upgrading my computer, going to the Intel camp now and I'm wondering if I should replace my video cards. Right now I have 2-X1900 cards in crossfire mode and I was wondering if one 3870 card was better than them two? Or should I just skip ATI and jump over to the NVidia wagon and pick a 8800GTX card?

it kind of depends on how much you want to spend. as for 1 3870 being better than 1900 crossfire, its around the same, depending on which 1900 cards you have. if they are higher end and 512mb, they are prob better. but newer is always better than older when talking vid cards. also there are so many good nvidia cards out now, its very hard to pick an ati.

Thanks. I have the 1900XTX with a X1900 Crossfire model, both 512mb. I know but I might just hold off and just upgrade the system first then think about video card later on. This time I'm going with single instead of SLI or Crossfire. I had too many headaches.

If you're gaming above 1920x1200 then I would go with the 8800GTX. They're so cheap right now its sickening. The 8800GTS (G92) is a good buy too.
