Which is better...3.4 or 3.2 EE

3.2EE has shorter pipes, so it's clock-for-clock faster than it's prescott counterpart, at 3.4ghz it will utterly blow away the 3.4

The current 3.4 is P4C, not a P4E.

If you can afford the 3.2EE go for it.

Though what I would do.... is get a 3.0C and OC it to 3.6Ghz+.

And it might even hold some of its value unlike most highend processors that with in 6 months are worth practically nothing. (b/c its a limited edition processor - and it will hold its own against prescott when it ramps up probably to 3.6+)

Wrong
Wrong
Wrong...

The Prescott scales better than the Northwood and Gallatin cores so it pulls away very well when you overclock.

So wait, you disagree that the EE at 3.4 GHz won't blow away a Prescott at 3.4?!

How did Prescotts become involved in this anyways, the guy asked about P4 3.4, which right now are P4C's.

If you buy a EE proc you are either a: independently wealthy or b: dumb as a brick.

Get the 3.4C.

Unless you must have the best of the best, the 3.2C for about $280 is probably the best buy on the market right now.
