Which install type do you use for Adrenalin? Default/Full, Minimal, or Driver Only?

I always do a default install so I can OC/UV the GPU and it is very useful for maxing performance at the lowest possible power level which is great for GPU longevity. The caveat is sometimes Windoze or Radeon sofware makes it a pain to set up. Usually it's something I did to debloat Windows or optimize it's performance and I jacked up some dependency in the system. Other times AMD drops the ball and screws something up but that has become far more rare in the last few years.

If I am not mistaken, that means you have the Default/Full installation. The custom option only shows up when selecting the Default/Full installation so you can choose if you want to install all the AI stuff or not. A quick check is seeing if you have the overclocking/tuning features in your Adrenalin install. If you do, you have the Default/Full install just without all the extra bloat.

if you choose default, you get this shit:

i choose custom, unselect it all and get a "minimal" install, but not "driver only". driver only doesnt load the control software.

The difference between Default and Minimal is not just unchecking the stuff that shows up when you click on Custom. The Default install (regardless of whether you checked or unchecked the stuff in Custom) has streaming features, overclocking/undervolting features, and an in-game performance overlay. The Minimal install as none of those features. If you selected Default and unchecked everything in Custom, you still get all the Default install features.
