Which Hard Drives?

Putting my PC togethor sometime next week the only issues seems to be which hard drives to go for, Ive decided not to go with the Raptors and wait for the 147GB versions which Ive been told are due anytime.

The plan is to use two of these in RAID 0 but I still need some fast high capacity storage (old games, iso's, music, video, dvd's etc...), Iam not sure as to which drives to go for but Iam leaning towards a pair (RAID 1) of 300/400GB seagate 7200.9's (£110/£145),

Any comments on the WD Cavier RE2 drives?
 
In most desktop situations, the RE2s you speak of perform better than any Raptor out right now. That said, so does Hitachi's Deskstar 7K500.
 
what about is time delay error thing, assuming Iam using onboard RAID then tthe SE16 drives would be a better idea?
 
Yeah, if you can forego the extra 2 years of warranty coverage. As far as I know, the performance of the two are otherwise identical.
 
seems to be a WD4000KS details floating about, no info on availability.
