which GTX 460??

Another plus is Gigabyte's dual fans are whisper quiet even under a load.

I have a pair of the Gigabyte 460 1GB cards and even overclocked under heavy load they are pretty quiet. My previous card was a Radeon 3870 and the fan on that thing was loud even at 50% of the fan's max RPM.

I bought the ECS Black with AC trin turbo cooler and it is dead silent and oc's nicely. My 2nd choice would have been the gigabyte.

Get the 1gb version, unless you are not pushing alot of resolution and AA

If you want one of the two in your first post, I'd personally go for the MSI one, alternatively there is the Gigabyte twin cooler card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...cm_re=gigabyte_gtx_460-_-14-125-334-_-Product).

I have the 1GB version of the card and it have been a very pleasant experience so far, it's fairly quiet, OC's easily (although it's my impression that this is the rule rather than the exception) and you can have it (1GB version) for $180 after MIR which is only a tenner more than the MSI card you linked to.

Hey guys...long time reader and my first post...i am going to order a GTX 460 768 tomorrow and i was wandering which one to purchase?

My first thoughts were they MSI over the evga. I am comfortable OC'ing the MSI but i was wandering if anyone had heard good or bad of either?

If you have the extra $20 and aren't pushing it with your budget already get the 1gb version.

Also get the one with the best aftermarket cooler if the price is the same.
