Hi, I'm trying to confiure my new i7 920. Which of these settings generate less heat:

170 base clock, 20x multiplier
200 base clock, 17x multiplier

thanks!

In terms of the CPU, there will be no difference. However, using a lower base clock will slightly reduce the heat put out by the chipset.

they're relatively the same since they have the same clocks ending clocks. heat output is mainly dependent on voltage
