Im seeing really high OCs from the 2600+ mobiles
so which one should i get? ordering tomarrow

It's kind of a toss up with all 3 of those, considering I've seen people hit 2.7GHz on each of them.

I'd just go middleground and get the 2500+, or go the cheapest and get the 2400+

Don't forget that you might not get the spectacular results that everyone else is.

I allready know OCing is not a guarentee man. so no need to warn me there :p
im just tossing up right now....

well, Stang_Man got 3ghz with his 2400+ mobile. knowing that they are all basically the same chip (at least i know now) i'd get that and put the extra money into improving something else.

Well, I just bought a 2500+ from newegg about a week and a half ago, and it posts at 2.7 on the stock 2500+ barton cooler with a crappy fan. I'm stable at 2.45 right now. Just waiting for the watercooling to get here.

So... I say get a 2500+ :)

btw, my stepping is IQYHA week 52 in case you were curious...

yeah 3ghz on a prommie tho :(
and I dont know if he was able to hold it for 24 hours of prime

For what it's worth, I have a 2400 and can run stable at 2525mhz. I think I could probably go higher if I had better cooling and better ram. If I were buying again, I would probably get another 2400, but I'm satisfied running at 2.5ghz. I'm not too concerned about going much higher right now. The 2500 may go higher than what I have, but to me, the difference doesn't justify the extra $20.

yeah i knew it was a prommie. i tthink it wasn't 24 hour prime stable. i believe he said he could "only" get 2.9ghz stable with prime.

but then there was that guy with the 1700 a long while ago who got 3ghz on water, and 3.1-3.2 with a prommie.

The multiplier is unlocked, they all run on low voltage (lots of headroom!) so why not the 2400+? I'm ordering one myself next week, most probably.

Reasonably, the higher the OC the better, but figure in the kind of speed you're getting for the price, even if the OC is a 'less than spectacular' 2.2ghz...

Not bad for a $70-99 CPU, no matter what kind of speed its 'supposed' to run at.

if i was to get only 2.2ghz outta it...it would be a fuckin key chain after the 24 hour prime period...my 2500 "regular" runs 2.3ghz and no more :(
