Well, since you don't know what's causing it, I'd say General Hardware. But it might help if you could give more details than just that it's making a rackety noise.
 
As long as you don't have a gerbil or a hamster in your computer, General Hardware is the right section. If you do have one in there, General Mayhem.
 
There are only a couple of components that actually move, like HDD, heatsink fan, power supply and case fans. Once you narrow it down to the component, you can switch your search to the specific forum for better help on your problem. :)
