Which fans for a hyper 212+?

better in terms of what? the stock fan(s) might show a bit more performance then the yate loon med. speed fans, but they're also louder. the yate loon high speeds should show a similar level of performance, but I'm not sure about sound level comparisons (I'm willing to bet that the coolermaster fan is a rebranded yate loon).

w/o knowing what you're specifically looking for and what you're willing to pay it's hard to make any suggestions.

as far as commenting on what you have over what you're looking at, I'd stick with what you got. the yate loons would be good as a replacement should the bearings fail on what you're currently using though.

The fan that comes with the 212+ is a pretty decent fan w/good static pressure (4.62mm H2O iirc). Not that it really matters since the 212+ has a fairly loose fin structure that doesn't produce all that much resistance in the first place. Bottom line, either way is fine, I'd probably save a couple bucks and just use the stock ones you've got.

Also, in my experience, push/pull on the 212+ didn't help drop my temps more than 1C vs a single push.

Adding an extra fan only lowered my H50 temps by 2c at load (nothing at idle). You will only notice 1-2c difference in load temps but it may be worth it for you. I'd get another R4 fan as they are pretty good.

Yate loon does make some good fans though but you'll have to buy two of them (as opposed to one more R4) and you'll only notice 1c difference between that and the R4 fans.

the fan that comes with the hyper is a pwm fan. that yate loon is not, so they can't be compared equally. that said, i replaced the stock coolermaster fan on my hyper 212+ as i found it to be noiser than other pwm fans (scythe).

How about a Delta fan with 4000rpm and 200+ CFM?I'm using the original 212 with the CM R4 (default) push and a Delta AFC pull lol.
