Which DVD Burner to get?

AnandTech reviewed a set of DVD+/RW DL burners just last month, and I think the NEC burner came out on top. Other reviews online (names of websites do not readily come to mind, but trust me they're out there) also seem to favor the NEC brand drive as well. If cheap and fast is what you're looking for, I would think that is the one to go for.

Yep, NEC 3500A is the best choice! Own one and not a single Verbatim and Ridata 8x dvd+r coaster so far.

and the

NEC 16X Double Layer DVD±RW Drive, Black, Model ND-3500A BK W/SW, OEM with software

1st has software, the other doesn't.

Pioneer A08 and Sony are also good DVD Burners...
