Which Digital Camera?

I've never purchased a digital camera before and as such I'm very new to the world of digital cameras (in terms of hardware).

So...

I've looked at reviews and talked to someone, and I see that this camera is pretty good:

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=30-113-103&catalog=23&manufactory=BROWSE

Also, since I would like to take many, many pictures at a time, this looks pretty good:

So, the questions:

1) How's that camera (price vs. performance)?

2) Is that flash memory the right kind? And should I just go with a cheaper 256mb flash card?

3) Is there anything else I need?

Many Thanks.

Alright, great. The reviews look a bit better on that one. :D

Final question before I order: is there anything else I need except for the extra flash card?

Thanks.

a decent set of rechargeable batteries... although its probably just as cheap to get them at a local walmart or something.. and possibly a case.. newegg sells a canon case that fits the a80 perfect.. real nice

OK, thank you all very much. The camera is on its way.

Your assistance is well appreciated!
