I want to place one of the following fans on my Thermaltake pipe101.
Tornado/Delta
Or the Panaflo
Suggest any other smart fan, high CFM, and pressure
Which is better. I want quietness, so panaflow is better, but not as good as the tornado. I can manually control the tornado so that it has the same db as the panaflo. So what will it be?Help me decide.

92mm fan here.
 
well its a trade off here if you want the best cfm or quietness. so you need to pick one or the other. with cfm comes noise.

And not all noisy fans cool equally well, either. Some of the very loudest, noisiest fans do a worse job of cooling than some of the slightly quieter fans do.
 
i just got the thermaltake 101 myself and put a ufo fan on it, does the job well but those led's got really annoying after about 2days so if u got a window ..... :p
 
I would suggest getting a good fan with a decent cfm like a panaflo. I have a tornado on a fan controller and it is still pretty loud even turned all the way down.

And that's not to mention that a Tornado at its slowest speed is not only louder, but actually delivers poorer cooling, than a Panaflo at its fastest speed.
 
So its like that. But it looks like the panaflo is not a ready made CPU fan, its a case fan. So need some work there, Or is there a CPU version of the panaflo? I havew a window, I don't like blinking lights all the time
 
Oh, the Panaflo is a ready-made CPU fan. You just need to buy the appropriate tail (3-pin or 4-pin molex).

So I need to buy something extra, like this tail thing, Someone told me to just change the connections
