Which Corsair Power Supply?

So I sent back the Fortron I bought as the fan had no throttling. It was an 80mm fan on 24/7 full blast. I figured it was worth the 15% restocking and shipping for years of silence.

I've decided on buying one of the Corsairs, due to the reviews and 5 year warranty. The question is, which one to get.

I will be powering the following system :
Core 2 Duo E6400
MSI P965 Neo-F
512mb or 1gb DDR2 PC5300
Geforce 7600 GT
2x 120gb Hard drives
Soundblaster Audigy 2
2 optical drives
1 120mm case fan
1 80mm case fan

So the question is, will I be good with the 520w, or will the 620w be a good investment for future upgrades? Consider that I don't upgrade very often; I'm upgrading from the system in my signature, which I built back in 2003. I just don't want to invest in the 620w, and then by the time I upgrade again, processors and video cards will require 1000w power supplies.

Also, if anyone knows where to get either one cheap, let me know. I'm currently looking at ZipZoomFly, as Buy.com appears to be sold out for an undetermined time.

Sounds like the 520 would be more than enough. I am thinking about buying one too, to power an e6300 with 2 gigs of ram, 3 hd's, 3 fans, few pci cards, 7900gs, and miscellaneous peripherals.

My question is this, the Corsair doesn't have a Surge protection circuit in it, so has anyone heard of these things blowing out Mobos? I am tempted to buy one thanks to all the great reviews, but I had an antec truepower a couple of years ago (apparently they suck?) and it blew out and took my motherboard with it. Don't wanna get burned again. Any ideas?

They're OEMd by SeaSonic. Why not just get a SeaSonic?

Maybe because Seasonic does not offer the 5 year warrenty that Corsar does ?? just a thought... :D

Hey, buy a couple, it's Christmas! :)

Seriously though, the 520W is more than enough for your system. I just set up one of the new AMD 4x4 systems with dual FX-72s and 7950GX2s in SLI on the 520 in the lab, no problem at all.

That, and its modular, and it has the quality of the M12 with the quieter fan setup of the S12, or vice versa according to the JonnyGuru review. I just went ahead with the 620w, turns out it will only be a $15 difference after rebate. Too impatient to wait and see if Buy.com was going to get any of the 520w back in stock, and who knows if the Google Checkout deal will be good after Christmas.
