Hi,

This was sort of spawned in my head from the 'what is your oldest console' thread. Which consoles do you own, and which do you hope to pick up? My apartment-mate and I sort of collect them (working ones only) so we have a rather sordid assortment, but I am curious what everyone else has going.

Between the two of us in the apartment we own:
2 PS2s
2 Gamecubes
1 Original Playstation
1 PS1 (the little playstation)
1 Xbox360
1 Xbox
1 N64
1 Dreamcast
1 SNES
1 NES
1 Sega Genesis
1 SegaCD
1 Sega Master System
1 Sega Saturn
1 Turbographix 16

Things I want: (and if you have any of these collecting dust and would like to sell them for a reasonable price, PM me):

3DO
Atari Jaguar
Philips CD-i
Neo Geo

So hows abouts yous?

1 PS2
1 Gamecube
1 Original Playstation
1 Xbox
1 N64
2 Dreamcast
1 SNES
2 NES

I have a GBA, and DS's if you count those too.
I want a Neo Geo, and I'm waiting for the Wii and maybe the PS3. I'd get an Xbox 360, but I'm not into the current game library.

1 Gamecube
1 N64
1 Gameboy
1 Gameboy SP
1 Gameboy DSlite

1 PS2(original)

1 Xbox360
1 Xbox

1 Sega Genesis
1 Sega Master System(genesis addon)
1 Sega Saturn

Right now I own an Xbox360.

I have owned almost every 'console' that there has been at one point or another, excluding handhelds, they're not considered consoles.

I do not want a PS3, but I may purchase a Wii.

:)

Own:

NES
SNES
N64
Gameboy Original, Pocket, Color, Advance, and Advance SP
DS Original and Lite
Virtual Boy :D

Alrighty.

I don't plan on buying any new consoles for a long time. My 360 was purchased with the goal of being my main and only next-gen console, and to replace as much PC gaming as possible, and provided it doesn't die on me, that plan should work very well. Cost-effective FTW! :p

PS1 (PAL/modded)
PS1 (NTSC)

Have in my home (in order of when bought, with year). Yes, I still have all of them, and I still play on all of them (for the most part).

- Sega GameGear (1992) -> got my first game system for my 4th birthday
- Sega Genesis (1993)
- Super Nintendo (1994)
- Sega Saturn (1995)
- Game Boy Pocket (1997)
- Game Boy (original!) (1997)
- Nintendo 64 (1997)
- Sony PlayStation (1998)
- Nintendo Virtual Boy (1998)
- Sega Dreamcast (1999)
- 2 Game Boy Colors (1999)
- Game Boy Advance (2001)
- Nintendo Gamecube (2001)
- Microsoft Xbox (2002)
- Sony PlayStation 2 (2002)
- Game Boy Advance SP (2003)
- Nintendo DS (2004)
- Microsoft Xbox 360 (2005)

I really want to pick up a Sega CD sooner or later so I can play some classic RPGs on it. And of course, I'm waiting for Wii. You can forget about PS3 with a price of $600 though... I've just started college too so video game money is going to be short for a while...

Consoles I have:

Atari 2600
Snes
N64
Playstation
Xbox
Gamecube
Xbox 360

Handhelds I have:

Gameboy (The smaller version)
Gameboy Advance
PSP

Consoles/Handhelds I want:

You gotta be kiddin, right??? I don't have enough time to play the ones I have when you throw my PC into the mix aswell

Probably get the Wii though ;)

Consoles/handhelds I own:

NES
Super NES
Playstation
Playstation 2
Gamecube x 2
Nintendo DS Lite (as well as an arctic ice GBA)

What I will get:

Nintendo Wii

What I really desire:

Sega Dreamcast (I missed out on this one, especially when you could have bought one for $100)
Sega Saturn (I'd get one and get the super rare Radiant Silvergun to go with it)
PC Engine (I found a mint condition one in Hong Kong...for a measly $200 USD)
Neo Geo (ditto for Hong Kong, but the games were $$$)
Nintendo 64 - but I would play all those obscure games, like Sin and Punishment, Doshin the Giant.

Maybes:

Sony PSP - only for Lumines and Valkyrie Profile remake
Sony PS3 - when and if Kingdom Hearts 3 hits
Xbox 360 - if it gets some games I actually want to play

If anyone has a Dreamcast in pretty good condition with some top games (Virtual On, Grandia 2, Bangai-O, Soul Calibur, Capcom vs. SNK, Last Blade, the various vertical shooters), I will pay. :) All offers will be entertained.

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone calling the Sega CD RPGs "Classic." They're more like those choose your own story books than actual games.

OT:
I have all the systems in my signature and I really want a
DS Lite,
Wii wii,
and a PS3 (MGS4 already has me sold on it and I will buy a system as soon as that game is available).

Lunar: Silver Star Story
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue

Uhh...I think that's it.
:p

LOL! That is hilarious! Have you heard of:

- Lunar: The Silver Star
- Lunar: Eternal Blue
- Vay
- Shining Force CD

And there were a bunch more that never made it here but would be worth it to import. Phantasy Star IV was originally going to be for Sega CD too although they ended up just making it for Genesis...

I actually haven't heard of any "make your own adventure" games for Sega CD, maybe you're thinking of a crappy console like the Lynx or something...

PS3 and Wii are on the way.

And I got rid of my Atari system. WAY too many games and took up a lot of space.
