I still play MW3, granted only been a few weeks since release, but still. I will probably play this as much as MW2, but not MW1.

Didn't touch WAW, and played blackops maybe 1 month.

Just wondering how long did you play each of the COD's any why?

(only cods from mw up)

For me, I played MW the most, because back then it was new, everyone loved it, and the game was just fluid, it flowed so well, and the campaign was good. It was the first COD that was a modern one and it got me into the series.

I guess because it was really new, i.e. all the killstreaks, etc, I loved to play it.

MW, followed by Black Ops, Followed by MW2.

I played MW3 for all of 3 hours before I sent it back to Amazon

For me, it goes back further. I played the hell out of COD and COD:UO. The best of the best. COD2 ran like balls compared to 1 but I still played that one a good amount too. Total of about 5-600 hours across all the COD titles. :D

Modern Warfare had the best classes and maps. I did not think the other multiplayer installments were as good.

COD2. I got it as a 360 launch title and remember being blown away by it. It was like playing a PC game on a console for the first time.
Plus, it was exceedingly long and fairly hard.

Of the poll picks. Black Ops.

If you count ALL of them it would be COD2. Hell I went from store bought to building my own computer for COD2.

Didn't realize that so many liked COD2 probably should've added to the poll. Sorry.

Honestly, from MW2 to Black Ops, I felt let down, just really didn't like it.

And, has anyone else noticed a decline in sniping? They seem to make snipers worse every game....

I've literally have played cod 4 on every system, must have played for at least 500 Hours

MW was the best imo. Tried to play MW2 and WaW but they were lame. Didnt bother with BO or MW3.

I actually liked Black OPs mulitplayer a lot. I loved hardcore CTF in that game. As for single player I liked MW1 the best.

The thing I hate about MW3 multiplayer is they started with MW2 multiplayer and didn't even look at what Black Ops multiplayer did right. They are slowly fixing some of it, but they really should of had these things from the beginning. I played hardcore S&D and some guy on the other team TK'd his entire team at the start, something you couldn't do in BO because you would just die instantly. Also it doesn't seem like all the perks worked correctly, like blast shield in Hardcore mode doesn't seem to save you like flak jacket did in BO (works in Core). In BO you could take one tube without dying even in hardcore mode, it was a great antitube deterrent. Also basic things like the HUD should always displays who got killed with consistent colors like your team should always be grey and the enemy should always be gold. In MW3 depending on what team you are on you can be grey or gold and its confusing if you don't know the people on your team. You also can't save game replays from the game lobby and in the replay mode you can't see the other players 1st person perspective, view the score screen at anytime, and no Dolby cam.

MW1 is my 2nd choice over the rest of the series but MW3 is my favorite simply because of the polish and even MP gameplay. MW3 is the most balanced out of the series IMO.

If you put the time into Black Ops it is actually the best multiplayer of the bunch. The streaks are all nerfed or can be nerfed if you use the right kit setup. The maps are probably the weakest point, but they're still better than the shitty maps they have in MW3. The physics and the aiming are the most solid of any of them. And they have servers rather than P2P crap.

MW2 was probably my favorite one, followed by MW. MW3 fucking sucks. Black Ops is alot better than MW3, but so far behind MW2 imo.

Black ops followed by MW2. Didn't quite like MW1 because I really got into late and in that game entering a server was insta - kill plus you could tell that either people were extremely proficient or just flat out cheating with little in between. Ended up giving up on it.

MW2 loved it for quite a while but around class 28 or 32 or something got really bored out of it. Got the expansions but the new maps didn't really hold me in. Black ops, played quite a bit and reached around 33 or something. Loved it and might actually go back to it one of these days. But then got weary of it.

MW3, played about 2-3 rounds of MP. Decided it sucked donkey's nuts and gave up on it. The FOV alone was worth skipping it altogether. Don't know if they added a fix yet or not, plus BF3 keeps me occupied in terms of gaming needs.

I've played MW for literally about 10 minutes on someone's Xbox. Haven't touched the other newer iterations. COD was a pretty good PC game. COD 2 was alright as well, but the series has become stale, the gameplay is not what I want in an FPS.

MW2 expansions sucked. I spent more time playing zombies in BO vs multiplayer in it, lol. Just didn't really like it all that much.

I've played every one... WAW was probably the one I played the least though.

I've probably put the most time into either Black Ops or MW. Although, MW3 will probably end up taking over

I agree. The new strike (support) packages can really help a team out that isn't doing so hot. It's also nice because it really helps cut down on camping. It was a much needed adjustment to the MP

I played Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare the most by far. I played it from the time it was released to sometime well after Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was released regularly. I played a lot of MW2's Spec-Ops mode but I didn't play the multiplayer all that much. I never leveled up all the way in that game. I skipped WaW and though I leveled up all the way in Black Ops, I didn't bother to Prestige or do anything else after that. I haven't purchased MW3 and I don't plan to until I can get it for a good price.

The first call of duty was the one I played the most. Beat the single player numerous times and spent hundreds of hours in MP.

blops but only because of combat training. I can't be bothered with high lag, immature players, and noobtubes.

Another one here for COD2 (PC). Really needs to be in the poll imo =)

Which? I thought it was all just one game with $60 DLCs released every year.

I did play quite a bit of that in BLOPS as well.

Yeah when I'm pulling 300-400 ping against semi-decent players I usually end up with a negative K/D. I rather fire up the ol bots and put them on a high setting.

This.

Black-ops maps were also designed a lot better than MW3's. MW3's are just cramped for the most part and don't have shit going on with them like the black ops maps. Honestly I think MW3 is pure crap, it's more or less a tweaked MW2.

But for me it would have to be Black ops, I just prestiged 15 right before BF3 came out and haven't touched it since BF3 came out.:)
Played MW3 for about a week then returned it, cuz to me personally BF3 just destroys it on every level.

Black Ops maps aren't as good as the original Modern Warfare's maps were.
