I've been waiting to see how everything was going to pan out with these new AMD cards and im actually pretty impressed price wise. My question is should i upgrade from my 8800GTX to the 6970 and call it a day or is it worth using my 8800GTX as the physix processor and getting the 570? Would it even be worth using both or am i way off base here? I completely understand the Price/Quality value that AMD just created but the question is will i see any difference if i use the 8800 combined with the 570? Any suggestions?

6970 or 570, Nvidia or ATI, which ever you like. Or go for the 580 if you have the cash.

Go for the 570.

Just for the drivers, seriously. Performance is similar but nVidia drivers are just so much nicer to deal with day to day.

I absolutely hate this Catalyst hassle.

Just being honest here.

AMD drivers are fine, I have a 4870x2 which is old and should have less support and I don't have any issues with it.

That being said the 570 is cheaper than the 6970 and performs just as good, so get that!
