Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm having a hard time deciding between the Lancool PC-K58W and CM HAF 912 with the Seasonic X-650 psu. They both cost about $165. I'm thinking the Lancool. What you think would be best?
I myself think cooler master's new design looks somewhat cheap. I really like the lancools design and I think its made of mostly Aluminum. IMO I'd go with the lancool.
What are your plans for the case? Do you plan to strictly air cool, or do you use water cooling? Future plans to water cool? What peripherals are going into it?
Both of the cases are almost identical as far as almost everything is concerned. If you have a hot video card the CM has one plus in that it supports a side panel fan. Outside of that it would be mostly down to aesthetics and brand preference.
Currently I'm using a CoolerMaster ATCS 840 and despite being sold on it when I ordered, am still surprised by how great of a chassis it has been. It is enormous in all respects, but I've never been concerned with size. Everything runs pretty frigid in it, and it has a ton of room for expansion.
