Comparable performance on both. If you're planning on sticking at 1080p/1200p, the 670 is fine, but if you ever have ambitions to upgrade to a 1440p/1600p display, the extra 1GB of frame buffer on the 79xx will be useful. Both will run fine at any of those resolutions, though.
