Ok, I saw the hot deals on the X800xl card for $119
I also saw a X1600 pro for $159

Would it be worth the extra money to get the X1600?

the x800xl is a stronger card is all catagories except for one thing. The x800 only can use SM2.0 and the x1600 uses SM3.0. I had a x800GTO that was great, but lacked some of the graphics that newer cards can display.

But if you can live with that, then the x800 is the way to go.

X1600 Pro is only equal ot about a 6600 GT in performance.

The X800 XL was equal to the 6800 GT in performance, but can't dispaly any Shader Model 3.0 effects.

cool it's the cheaper card!!!!!! How often does that happen?
:D
Guess I'll be ordering one this weekend. I've noticed that ATI ships some stuff from Addison Tx. Is there a place I can go buy it like willcall?
