I need to now which board is the best. I would like a board that is a good overclocker but is stable at the same time.
1. ASUS "A8V Deluxe" VIA K8T800 Pro http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-131-510&depa=1
2. MSI "K8N Neo4 Platinum" NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-130-484&depa=1
3. DFI "LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D" NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-136-152&depa=1
4. SOLTEK "SL-K890Pro-939" VIA K8T890 http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-180-068&depa=1

Need response now need to order in the next 2 hours.

not a big AMD guy but i would go with MSI or the ASUS, just because i like the companys. sorry i could not provide more

If you aren't looking to OC, and you aren't looking for SLI, you might give the MSI K8N Neo4-F a look. It might even be possible to take the nForce4 Standard chipset and mod it to an Ultra (to get SATAII) chipset in the same way that you can mod an Ultra to an SLI. :)

Not a lot of bells and whistles, but you can get the thing second day air mailed to your home from like $92 from ZZF, of if you want to go the newegg route: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-130-491&depa=0

i would also say give MSI a try..btw that first board is AGP and the rest are PCI-Express..im guessing you are going pci-express maybe just got the wrong link for the first one.

No actually not wrong link I know what i put down. So should it be MSI cause i need overclockability and stability at the same time also i would like to save money. I'm not rich.

Well, the K8N Neo4-F is a new board that is simply a K8N Neo4 Platinum with the nForce chipset (instead of nForce4 Ultra), and they don't attach the Silicon Image controller (so you only have 4 SATA connectors), the Firewire controller, or add a second Gb ethernet jack.

There is a possibility that all 3 nForce chipsets are actually identicle, and simply doing a little mod can turn features off or on with the chip. This has already been done with the nForce Ultra chips on the DFI boards. Doing the little mod makes the board a fully functional SLI board. IF the Standard uses the same core (which it appears it might), then a Standard could be modded to an Ultra to enable SATAII (note newegg says it has SATAII, but it in fact does not). :) I am going to try it when I get all of my components in next week. :)

Being the exact same PCB and using the exact same components as the Platinum, it should in theory be just as overclockable as the Platinum and just as stable. You will have to look into the little OC bug that currently the MSI boards have. It will probably be fixed in a new bios update anyway though. In short, you can only OC to about 225 via the bios, without having post issues, unless you OC from windows using clockgen, etc. Then it OCs just fine. But like I said, that will probably be resolved in a bios update, if using clockgen is an issue for you. On top of that, the board is an absolute steal at the prices it is being sold at.

DFI sir if you want an OC board that pwnz.

I've heard no more reports of instability on the DFI than I have on any MSI products. Most boards optimized for overclockability are usually sacrificing a bit in the way of stability but then again, is there an oc'er here who doesnt find a way to run their OC'ed rig stable anyways?

DFI is no exception, if there's no actual RMA'able flaw with the mobo or if the bios isnt bugged you WILL get a solid OC out of it with the right hardware and you WILL get it running stable if you know what you're doing (and I assume you do :D )
