Which Blu-Ray Reader/Writer?

I'm waiting for prices to drop personally, as I use my PS3 for watching BRs and simply can't afford to burn them, but I'm building a computer for a friend who wants a BR R/W and I'm pretty set on this LG model. It reads/writes BRs, as well as reads HD-DVDs, plus all the normal CD/DVD R/W options, all for a relatively cheap (compared to both a standalone BR and HD-DVD player) $329.99. It's also gotten very solid reviews from what I've read

Thanks guys.
Looks then like the LG is the one for me. Luckily enough it is available at my local dealer and is also one of the cheapest. :)

LG GGW-H20L

There was a posting on the site which might be of some interest to some regarding the LG and burning on to BD-R's, I quote:

Question / Problem
BD-R Write Failures resulting in coasters. Three out of four of my first BD-R write failed, wasting expensive media. I was using NERO 8.

Answer / Solution
1) Make sure you select correct BD-R burn speed. (Nero8 tried to burn at 6x speed, the media is only capable of 2x). 2) There is a Firmware Update for the GGW-H20L. Go to the LG Electronics site and down load the correct file. ***Follow the instructions carefully***. The firmware update takes about 20-30 seconds and then a reboot is required. So far, no more coasters. I was using NERO8 and Verbatim BD-R 2x media.
