Asus P5W Dh Deluxe

ASUS P5N32-SLI Premium WiFi-AP

ASUS P5B DELUXE WIFI-AP

ASUS P5W64 WS Professional

I have never overclocked before but it's something I definately want to learn and eventually do with ease. Also, I haven't quite decided on which memory yet. I have "narrowed" it down between :

Corsair XMS2 Dominator TWIN2X2048-6400C4D 2GB 2X1GB PC6400 DDR2-800 CL 4-4-4-12 240PIN Memory Kit
Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400C4 2GB 2X1GB PC6400 DDR2-800 Cl 4-4-4-12 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit
Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-8500C5 2GB 2X1GB PC8500 DDR2-1066 Cl 5-5-5-15 240PIN Dual Channel Memory
OCZ EPP Enhanced Performance Profiles PC2-7200 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-900 CL4-4-3-15 Dual Channel Memory Kit
OCZ Value Series PC2-5400 1GB 2X512MB DDR2-667 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit
OCZ Platinum XTC REV.2 PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-15 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit

I've heard many great things about both the p5w-dh (actually had one myself) and the p5b-dlx. Both are very capable boards, and will overclock substantially. For the ram, I would suggest looking into some G.Skill memory. This memory tends to overclock very well.

Well, I built my first conroe rig (P5W-DH, E6600, 1gb G.Skill) two months ago. After I used it, I was left under the impression that it was two powerful for my needs. So I sold the parts. Rewind to today, I am waiting for the parts to arrive for my new Conroe rig. I will most likely go with the P5WDH again. It's a great board thats packed with features and overclocking potential.

Hopefully a P5W DH owner could answer this for me. Can the board support 6 SATA drives *without* using RAID? I'm concerned about the 2 orange SATA ports which are used for the 'EZBackup' feature. Will those two ports also allow for just regular SATA useage?
