was wondering which one you think will do better for my rig, the antec neo power 480w or the antec neo HE 500w??

NeoHe has an incompatibility with the the A8N.

Check the sticky up top

thanks for the heads up, i tested both out and the 480 actually gives out better results as its steady in its readings while the 500 is all over the place, anyhow I will stick with the 480 for now and save up for a pc power and cooling.

Using software, amirite?

within the asus utility software that came with my board

The original Neo 480 is a better power supply as far as stable rails goes.

The new NeoHE's are more efficient, but given the choice, I would use the original Neo.

And an "upgrade" from the Neo 480 to a PCP&C 510 would be pointless. Yes, the Neo 480's rails are that stable.
